Turning Your Fear into Faith, with Rev. Dr. Stephanie Sauvé

Turning Your Fear into Faith, with Rev. Dr. Stephanie Sauvé

Episode 19.  Do you ever shy away from the topic of faith or religion for fear of creating conflict?   Are you afraid of asking questions because you don't want to be seen as someone who questions the authority of the church or its clergy?  What is true when it comes to religion/Christianity/faith?

Linda expresses her struggles with these questions to her guest and friend, Rev. Dr. Stephanie Sauvé.  Learn why Dr. Sauvé not only encourages us to ask questions about our faith traditions but how questioning can deepen our faith. Listen as Linda's fear is transformed into excitement, joy  and hope. Yours can too!

Linda's guest, Rev. Dr. Stephanie L. Sauvé,  has been a clergy person in the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. for over 35 years. She received a M. Div from Yale Divinity School and her D. Min from Colgate Rochester Divinity School.

Dr. Sauvé recently retired from Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School where she served as the Vice President of Academic Life & Dean of the Faculty, Director of Supervised Ministry, Director of Life Long Learning and an Associate Professor of Practical Theology.  She is a certified Spiritual Director,  a trained Conflict Mediator/Transformer,  leads retreats and works with faith communities in conflict.
